Man on Netbook – Barnes & Noble’s Coffee Shop
I like this drawing because even though I had completely forgotten about it, looking back I can recall that this is exactly what the guy looked like. I even remember how uncomfortably small that laptop looked under his hands, that he looked to be Hispanic and most importantly he was wearing a tacky button-up shirt with tribal designs on it. I remember where Bridget and I were sitting in relation to him in the room. I remember all of this, for no particular reason other than the fact that I drew him. Its a funny thing about the netbook, I had never heard of one until a couple weeks ago when an article peaked my interest (and this drawing is atleast a couple months old).
Update 11-29-08: I got a netbook!

Hi Jon- thanks for the comment on my site. I came over to your site here and for some reason only the top drawing loaded. I’m already interested though, by the sketch, and what I see of the text. I’ll have to come back when my computer can load all of your sketches- looks like a great site.
