About
As you’ve probably figured out from the gigantic header ^ above, my name is Jonathan Zacsh. My greatest passions are computer science and fine arts. If I could be paid to simply keep sketchbooks, it would be a dream come true (hint hint: need a free-hand artist?).
…the structure of languages structures our thinking; this is nowhere more true than in programming languages

Some facts
- I’m a computer science major (was a fine arts major).
- I am a volunteer EMT in my town.
- I work part time as both an intermediate IT and web developer.
- I played bass-guitar when I was younger, and I’m currently teaching myself to play the guitar (an acoustic).
- I listen mostly to last.fm and pandora [when I'm not listening to my own library]
Free Time
If you haven’t seen a post in a while, its usually due to hard hours I’m putting in at the office. By “the office” I mean the place I’m found researching: Linux, UNIX, CSS & xHTML, Python, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, XML and when the next Iron & Wine show is playing near by.
As my hours of operation vary, sometimes I forget to clock-out altogether. So feel free to contact me if you’re wondering when my next post is coming. Even bug me on Twitter… if I friend you!
